Fifteen personalities from television, film, politics, and digital media are split into two distinct tiers: the Rulers, who enjoy authority and luxury in the Penthouse, and the Workers, who endure grueling physical labor in the Basement to build the ultimate prize pot. Through workplace tasks, tactical shifts, eliminations, and power votes, Workers strive to climb up while Rulers fight to protect their status, because only a player standing at the top in the Penthouse can claim the accumulated prize money.
